Fair Oaks Ranch, just next to Boerne, is a perfect little piece of suburbia, yet still close to amenities. This piece of land was acquired in the 1930s by local businessman Ralph Fair, Sr. In fact, the Fair family home burned down in the 1950s and went through a thorough remodeling. That home still stands today and serves as the hub of all the Fair Oaks Country Club social activities. This subdivision includes an extremely popular 18-hole golf course designed by the legendary Gary Player. Also included in residential amenities are 13 miles of hiking trails, access to Cibolo Creek, and a variety of social activities offered through the country club.
